Jasmin Ghera


Jasmin Ghera (2001) trumpet

was born in Sassari (Sardinia, Italy). She was awarded a Bachelor’s degree by the Conservatory "Luigi Canepa" of Sassari (Prof. A. Mura). She has recently obtained her Master's degree in Music Interpretation from Haute école de musique de Lausanne (Prof. E. Aubier) in Switzerland.


In October 2021 she was admitted to the Royal Academy in London, where she will continue her studies. From the end of June to the end of August 2022 she played in the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester for the Special Project Salzburg Festival 2022. 

In 2015 she was ranked 3rd place in the International Competition "Premio Claudio Abbado" in Matera.

In 2021 she finished 4th at the International Jeju Compétition and in 2019 she won 1st prize at the Golfo degli Angeli competition in Cagliari. 


Jasmin has participated in numerous musical events, including a concert of the Wind Orchestra "Festivities and Dances in the World" directed by L. della Fonte in 2016 and, in the same year, a performance of Britten’s opera "L'arca di Noè" as part of Sassari’s Opera and Symphonic Season.
